| TC 6.3 is concerned with those central forced air systems
used for residential and light commercial building comfort heating and cooling. Our
members offer their wide knowledge on these topics in many different Society activities,
through various subcommittees. The Committee sponsors Research Projects, which are a way
to further knowledge in our field.
We provide valuable assistance in the writing and revision of those chapters in the
Handbook for which we are responsible.
We often sponsor one or more Seminars at the Society National Meetings. This is a
good opportunity to let others know what TC 6.3 is doing.
Finally, we are also involved with the writing and revision of standards. In
particular, TC 6.3 has had a long history of involvement in Standard 152, which deals with
duct efficiency.
The subcommittee meetings are where the action is, so don't miss them. They are a
good way for TC members to become more closely involved with the activities of the
committee. |
